Welcome to Broxbourne Blades Fencing Club.
Broxbourne Blades is a friendly fencing club open to fencers at all levels of experience and welcomes beginners over the age of 16. The club fences all three weapons Foil, Épée and Sabre.Where and when?
Broxbourne Blades Fencing Club meets every Tuesday at the Wormley Community Centre, Fairfield Drive, Wormley, Herts, EN10 6DX.- Click here for a map to find us.
- Doors open at 19:30 and fencing starts at 19:45 ending at 21:30
What does it cost?
It's not expensive to start fencing. Your first introductory session is free and £5 per session thereafter. We do not charge a membership fee. Fencing tuition is available from our club tutor free of charge and club fencing equipment is available for use of beginners. British Fencing Association membership is available through the club for £10 per annum. Full BFA membership is usually required for competition entries and more details regarding full membership costs can be found on the BFA web site. After a few weeks new fencers may wish to purchase their own equipment and this can be done one item at a time.
